I was the person who was supposed to help. And I couldn't.
For years, I sat on the other side of the table...
I am Emeline Sandrine Kiam, née Betsi, founder of KIAM Advisory.
For years, I sat on the other side of the table.
As an HR manager. As head of human resources. As a member of the occupational reintegration (BEM) team.
As the person who was supposed to help – and whose hands were tied.
I have seen:
How people carry trauma from work home with them – and how their private lives spill back into their work
How they sink into disorganized systems that slowly wear them down
How leaders function on the outside – while inside they have long been at their limit
How voices go unheard. In meetings. In conversations.
In decisions.
Again and again.
Until at some point they stop speaking up themselves.
And I was sitting right there. Saw it. Felt it. And could not help the way I wanted to.
So I switched. Sides. Tables. Roles.
Today, I am the outside voice I would have needed back then.
No more tied hands. No conflicts of interest.
Just one goal:

My journey began far away from here. At University of Yaoundé II (Soa) in Cameroon. A country that taught me: resilience is not a theory. It is a way of life.
This hunger for more brought me to Germany, to study business administration at Kiel University. From there, my path led me to ENACO (France),where I immersed myself deeply in the world of human resources management.
But numbers and structures alone were never enough for me. I was interested in the people behind them. Why they function. Why they fail. Why they stay silent, even though they would have so much to say.
So I went where exactly that happens.
I built my own HR company.
I became Head of human resources – responsible for more than 300 people.
I became HR manager. Member of the occupational reintegration (BEM) team. Confidante of executives
I organized workshops. Led seminars. Created spaces where people were finally allowed to speak
And through all these years, there is one thing I never stopped doing:
Listening. Asking questions. Helping people hear themselves clearly again.
The training made it official. My clients had known it all along.
Today, it is my profession. - Certified by the DACTE – German Academy for Coaching, Training and Development.
And every day, I am grateful that I am finally sitting on the right side of the table.
Who I am here for
